TRAVEL DIARY | SAN FRANCISCO

SAN FRANCISCO! Home of the show that I grew up watching daily (Full House), one of the most expensive cities to live in, and of course known for having the BEST food.  When I visited San Francisco for the first time in February, I was overwhelmed by this city. San Francisco isn’t big, its overall about 8 miles all around. However, the amount of places to see, things to do, and the food to eat is INSANE…….. Below I listed my favorite places I saw, amazing food, and beautiful insta worthy views!!!!!

Going to the Golden Gate Bridge is a 100% must! We rode bikes through the park located right next to the bridge and continued all the way up to the bridge. It was breath taking views the entire way up, we probably stopped 20 times so I could take pictures. (We rented bikes from http://www.sportsbasement.com/annex/ -they are AWESOME)

This is Golden Gate park and let me tell you, it’s HUGE. There are SO many different paths you can take to view different things. This photo is right outside the Flower Exhibit, not too far from Height and Ashbury. This was one of the most beautiful places to visit just because it was so nice to see the amount of greenery, flowers, and trees when I felt like I was surrounded so many buildings throughout the day.

Going to visit Alcatraz Island was probably my ultimate favorite place we went to this trip. We took a Ferry boat boat over and got to explore the Island that is known for housing one of the most famous prisons. It had once held famous inmates such as, Al Capone, Frank Morris, Robert Stroud, etc. We took an audio tour throughout the jail and then got to explore the rest of the Island on our own. Being on this small island and looking out to seeing San Francisco in a complete circle was pretty amazing.

AHHHHH the Farmers Market (AND Fishermans Warf)…. This place is heaven. It has everything from flowers, organic fruits, pastries, to the most food in one place you’ll ever see! When we went we wanted to try everything, so we tasted a little bit of everything!! We definitely will be back here next time, its a must see (and eat).

YUM YUM YUMMMY, Mr Holmes Bakehouse is extremely known for their unique desserts. Upon even approaching the cute little bakehouse, the line was out the door. Once we saw all the options and got 5 different pastries because it was too hard to decide! We quickly knew why this place is so extremely popular and is all over Instagram.
